How to Install cpio software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

cpio software package provides GNU cpio -- a program to manage archives of files, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install cpio 

cpio is installed in your system.

Make ensure the cpio package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cpio *

You will get with cpio package name, version, architecture and description in a table
